The 2021 US Senate-passed infrastructure bill contains much-needed provisions to upgrade vital infrastructure but doesn’t do nearly enough to address one of the biggest threats to infrastructure: climate change. As the recently released IPCC report, devastating wildfires and deadly heat waves make clear, Congress must immediately pivot to address this threat.
